Our on site workshop is well equipped and provides a fast

We specialise in making to order special commissions. Designed by you and Mr. John Baldwin
then hand crafted in our workshop an individual hallmarked piece to be cherished.
Cad/Cam Design Service
At John Baldwin Jewellery we pride
ourselves on our forward thinking. We have recently researched and purchased an
innovative piece or CAD/CAM (computer aided design / computer aided manufacture)
Software specifically tailored to the jewellery industry. With John Baldwin's
design expertise working in harmony with the latest technology you can have your
special commission created digitally and even view images of the proposed piece.
Once confirmed we will then produce the design in your choice of metal, with you
safe in the knowledge that the finished item will be just as the pictures you

Use your old Gold
Many people have items of jewellery that may be broken
beyond repair or no longer worn. We offer a service whereby we take your gold, melt it
down and use it to make an item for you e.g. Bangle.

Stone Replacement Service
We can supply to order practically any gemstone from
Diamonds to Agates and reset them in your jewellery. Our suppliers will match
the colour and quality of your remaining stones so that the new stone will blend
in naturally.
Special Order Service
We offer a service which allows customers who are unable to
find quite what they want in our displays to place an enquiry with us. We will then try to
obtain from our vast list of suppliers goods to meet the individual requirements. If this
is not possible we are able to make individual items in our workshop (see above).
Wedding ring promotion
We currently have a fabulous promotion on wedding rings. If

Valuations
We have an National Association of Goldsmiths registered
valuer working on our premises. He is able to provide fully bound type-written valuations
for insurance and probate.
Insurance Cover
We are agents for T.H. March an Co. insurance brokers and
are able to arrange insurance cover specifically designed for your jewellery.
T.H. March are specialist insurers who have expertise in the Jewellery field of
insurance. We often find that separate all risks insurance arranged by T.H.
March provide superior cover at such a competitive price, it is cheaper to use
them than to specify the items on your existing home policy. We would be pleased
to obtain a quote on your behalf with no obligation.
Insurance Claims
We have a very good working relationship with many of the
top insurance companies and are able to provide advice and estimates for lost or stolen
jewellery items. Should a claim the proceed we will deal direct with your insurers to
ensure a smooth conclusion.
Watch Accessories
We are able to supply and fit batteries to many types of
watch while you wait.
We also have in stock a wide selection of straps which we will be happy to attach
for you.
Watch Repairs
We are able to arrange repairs to most brands of watch by a
highly skilled watchmaker. We offer a no obligation quote service and a turnaround of
repairs normally within a week or so.
Restringing
We also have a complete restringing service available for
pearls or beads.
